Château de la Chaize Lieu-Dit La Chaize '22 Paardeberg and refreshingly brightIn the heart of the Brouilly appellation lies a dramatic hillside Gamay vineyard rooted in porphyroid granite behind an ancient castle. To preserve and enhance the grandeur of the region, the vineyard is picked and vinified plot by plot. Once destemmed, grapes were fermented for 11 15 days in stainless steel tanks and aged in oak vats for a slooooww 13 months.
