(Old Maps, 18th Century Maps, Europe) Issued c. 1600 1620, Europe. After Mercator, this called Mercator Minor map. Scarce early 17th century engraved map, with lovely hand color. Strapwork title cartouche. Nice looking example, pleasing age patina, text on reverse as issued, short minor edge split at top left edge of map sheet, any minor age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
