“Everywhere I Go”: The Sketchbooks of Cyrus Highsmith EhmckeItems paper samplesFor the past thirty years or so, letter drawer, teacher, author, and graphic artist Cyrus Highsmith carried a sketchbook with him almost every where he went. He drew letters, chairs, tools, bunnies, friends and students, and Darth Vader. He was following lines, working out ideas, and observing the world around him. (Hes not dead. Hes still doing this.) Now all these sketchbooks have found a home at the Providence Public Library where theyll be on
