Dumbarton 'Sovereign' 1987 / 31 years old 43.5% Volume:700ml vanilla sponge and a veryDistilled at the now defunct Dumbarton distillery in West Dumbartonshire, this single cask single grain has been bottled as part of Hunter Laing's 'Sovereign' series after 31 long years maturing in a single Bourbon barrel. It boasts rich, marshmallowy aromas, with hints of vanilla and decadent caramel. Candied orange to the fore on the palate with toasted cereal and oaky notes on what is a lush, full bodied palate. A long sweet and satisfying finish
