Original yellow publisher's cloth; 318 pages; colour frontispiece of the author (painted by Henry Lamb in 1926) and a folding map of Guiana opposite p196; top corner of front endpaper neatly snipped off. Jacket not price clipped but rubbed and chipped along the top edge and head and tail of the spine, spine also slightly toned; no marking or previous owner's names. An about VG
