Antique Gilt Buttons on Original Sample Card: C19th France handpainted leather wallcovering The condition is excellent forDating from the mid 19th century and handmade in France, two finely crafted buttons. The larger of the larger of the two is in old gold & pewter coloured gilt metal depicts a setter or spaniel dog. Whilst the smaller button is in old gold gilt and looks like a bulldog with the most extraordinary attention to detail in miniature form, including its teeth and a detailed collar.
