Also the verse doesn't really fit with Wales. Some of the early Welsh samplers had verses, but the later ones did not. I have two Welsh Samplers, that are almost identical stitched 36 years apart. The earlier one has a verse and alphabet, the later has neither. Selina was found in Wales and the flower urns are very Welsh, the roses not so much. It is difficult to say.
