The bouquet is remarkably deep and evolved, letting loose an inviting stream of baked black cherries, fig compote, and dried violets, seamlessly layered over secondary notes of cedar cigar boxes, sweet liquorice, and leather. On the palate, the wine is plush, supple, and medium to full bodied, carrying its concentrated dark plum core over a bed of entirely integrated, silken tannins. It
