The old lady of the Atlantic' the brass plaque reads. The Mauretania was the sister ship of The Lusitania which was torpedoed by a German U boat in 1915. It was one of the most successful ships by Cunard Line. The other is a 1930s carved pot with an inscription reading, Cyril V Lock in Portsmouth, early 1930. Items sold as a pair.
