Teacup 001 | Louis Reilly Like ZI RAN SMOKEThese cups were thrown on a potters wheel one at a time by Lees Summit based studio potter, Louis Reilly. The coarse, iron rich stoneware clay is visible on the bottom third of the piece. A tea dust glaze was made using naturally occurring domestic materials and wood ash from a wood fired pizza oven.
