The palate is quite dense and multi-layered with dark berry fruit laced with white pepper and bay leaf that builds towards quite a backward finish that will requite 8-10 years to reach its drinking window

Anne Gros Bourgogne Blanc Cuvee Marine 2023 New World and more deeply pitched91 Points Decanter, Charles Curtis Pleasant aromas of ripe pear and orange peel are accented here with light floral notes and a bit of spice. The texture is light, supple and elegant, suffused with surprising freshness for the vintage. The grapes are from the top of the slope in the village of Concoeur above Vosne Romane. The wine was aged exclusively in 500L barrels to give it a hint of richness without obscuring the lovely fruit.
