The trinket box forms the shape of a 3 dimensional egg, which is nestled at the center of a woven "bird's nest" border. The egg is made of white satin opaline glass, which has frosted exterior, but is smoothly polished for a reflective finish on the interior. It rests within a coiled wirework frame made of brass, which has been gilded for a vibrant gold
