We wanted to capture as much sharp, bright, warm, & tonal wooden impact percussion as your heart could desire. We recorded several bamboo poles, bamboo logs, a whole pile of claves, woodblocks, clappers, a box drum, and other assorted wooden implements that epitomize the word "thwack.
