The newer pieces of cast iron made since mass manufacturing became the standard, are known to be heavier and more of a challenge to maneuver in the kitchen. However this BIG #9 mid century BSR square skillet, is one you have to have for your collection! The pan was found near Harrisburg PA and was in good condition for its age.
