Fenrir, the son of Loki and Angrboa, was one of the main figures in the sagas. It was prophesied that he would break free from the chains that bound him, devour the sun and the moon, and ultimately swallow Odin during the battle of Ragnark. There were also other wolves in Norse mythology, who were not all seen as evil.
