Rare Pair of Indo-Portuguese Silver Framed Beveled Mirrors chippendale furniture Railing: Height 36DETAILS These beautiful, small, antique, 19th century Indian frames were hand carved of teakwood and overlaid with silver. Each features a central cross above a sacred heart, flanked by scrolls and floral blocks, that surmount reeded, half pilasters and beaded details framing the expertly beveled, newer mirror. The small size and substantial proportions of this pair make them useful and decorative for many walls in the home. PERIOD Mid 19th century
