Antique French Silver Watch Chain, Victorian 800 Silver Watch Chain Necklace emerald_earrings The setting of the earringsComposed of 800 900 silver and hallmarked with a boar's head, this watch chain was assayed in Paris around the turn of the century. A lovely feature of the chain is the oversize bolt ring, which is a later replacement made of silver plate. The length of the chain is shorter than a modern chain but it makes a very lovely and stylish short necklace, as pictured in photos. We love the lozenge links which have a beautifully ornate filigree pattern. The
