The grip is all one piece so you get great traction with no gaps. It would be important to make sure this pad will fit on your board width ways as it cant be adjusted, expanded or reduced. So if youve got a Fish with a wide tail, or narrow pin tail, check your tail against the pad size. The pad is super thin with no arch so is completely flat. Kelly
