Carved II Black hemp 490 for 150 x 240Designed by Naoki Terada This clock, with its numbers chiseled out, attempts to treat the graphic as part of the form. The shadows of the carved out letters bring a three dimensional impression to the clock face, its appearance changing in accordance with lights located in its immediate area. The idea was inspired by materials used for interior decoration and technical conversion. The letters carved into the clock face are only 2mm in width. The smart
