Hannah Rider 1781 Sampler Kit Anne Davies 1873 This pattern uses Kreinik #4A darling George III sampler dated 1781 from Cumbria, worked by Hannah Rider. Several beautiful alphabets, numbers, and some imaginative animals are at the bottom. Hannah was a very accomplished stitcher. On the last page are times of the back of her sampler you can hardly tell it is the back. The soft pastel colors and pleasing composition make it such a charming sampler.
