Through the use of a. o. caramel malt, it has a soft aromatic, caramel like character. A little bit sweet in taste with a fresh aftertaste. Pours very dark with a nice red hue and a big three finger light brown head, good lacing. Smells of cloves and spicy apples and malt. Tastes of cloves and hops with a mild bitter almost toasty finish. Very silky mouthfeel and very drinkable 7% ABV
