Please keep in mind the size can vary a bit larger or smaller. These are high quality Italian made dishes. These can be used up to 2500F. The best way to season these crucibles is with a little Anhydrous Borax. To do this heat the dish up to around 1000F and sprinkle some Anhydrous Borax in the dish, it will melt and act as a sealant. Then let your dish cool
