Washi Sketch Project #3 Peony & the Southern Cross Leather I love the way theORIGINAL Only one available Peonies in Japan are one of the most featured flowers which represent feminine beauty, but also wealth and nobility of spirit. And they also feature a lot on their traditional woodblock prints. I really enjoyed sketching this one. In this sketch I have added our southern cross and the little Japanese characters to the right says Ema Frost. Visually I like the look of Japanese characters as to me it's like a picture art
