Impregnated. This rod is in excellent, carefully used condition and a rare model that can be tough to find. It is nice and straight, the ferrule fit is very good, and the guides have little brassing. The cap and ring have a fair amount of edgewear to the oxidation and the grip is moderately dark from hand soiling. The rod action is
