Carved on the interior of both bowls are overlapping leaves of various sizes

The dark section on one side reminds me that glaze chemistry and 2000+ degree kiln fire are unpredictable

For this fun experiment I used 3 different kinds of stoneware clay to throw the initial body of the mug

Between each tile is a hand-made bead that was left unglazed to reveal the speckled stoneware
