Hardy Silex Multiplier Fly Reel 13' "DB" is inked within theA very nice Hardy Silex Multiplier reel, 2 3 4" diameter. This design with the half moon regulator was made in this size from 1928 until 1939, and, as stated in Drewett's book, only about 400 or so of these was ever produced. This one is in excellent condition and free of any major defects that I could find. The patina is solid, the click is very smooth and the reel is tight. There is a tiny bit of play in the ebonite reel handle but nothing
