Tarantino, of course, was a world champion fly caster during the 1950's through the 1970's. The rod weighs 4. 3 ounces on my scale. It was originally made as a one tip rod as the bag only has a provision for one. The rod has seen some use and restoration. The wraps have been replaced at the ferrules and the bottom guide on the tip.
