The varnished cap and ring seat is Mahogany flatted for the reel foot and steps up to act as the rear cork check

The reel is in excellent+ condition with only a few very insignificant nicks to the finish from limited fishing use

The end cap has a brass plaque hand engraved with a light scroll work treatment and "Spinoza Rod Co serial #12

The rod includes the original green bag and leather tube that has developed a very handsome patina from age and use
