Forrest Patent Drag Reel 4 1/8" 6'8" 8' 2/2 Lyle Dickerson 8014A nice Forrest of Kelso patent drag salmon winch, 4 1 4" diameter with 1 5 8" spool width. Excellent overall condition with a fine patina throughout and free of any major defects. One side of the foot has been chopped slightly, but that's about it. The reel turns nicely and makes a nice loud click. "Forrests Patent Drag" is lightly engraved in the winding plate opposite the ivorine handle. A nice early example of a classic salmon winch.
