The action is a medium fast #3, a clone of the Thomas Fairy taper. Perfect varnish. Full engraving treatment, agate stripper and leather rod tube. First the grip, western style with 1 4" high quality corks. The reel seat is a cap and ring slide band with a gunstock quality mortised Circassian walnut insert. Both the cap and ring are fully engraved
