Bill Ballan Model 44 Fly Reel 1 Weight The reel comes with whatA little Bill Ballan fly reel, his Leonard Model 44 replica. Favors right hand wind, but it's subtle and could likely be used just fine as LHW as well. 2 1 2" diameter pillar to pillar with 3 4" spool width. The reel is in near mint condition with a few handling marks but no sign of fishing use. Black sideplates with a silver frame, spool, and foot. "Bill Ballan" and "Model 44" engraved in the faceplate. It would be perfect for lines up to a DT3.
