zTwyford (1950) Toby and Toffee (1953) Showcased by Josie Rockett Label hump and inoperative squeaker —10Toby is a rare red mohair Twyford bear made in the late 1950s, early 60s. He measures a dinky 10 inches tall, has a soft stuffed body and a wood wool filled head. His pads are made from felt, he has glass eyes and a non working squeaker in his tummy. He is an unusual little fellow and it is quite interesting that he has an almost identical design to the Farnell Toffee bear. They are the same size and shape, they even have the same rounded foot pads! I
