There is a four drawer compartment at the base. A stunning piece with beautiful grain and deep patina. The wardrobe dismantles easily for transportation purposes. There are some minor hardly noticeable repairs and two easily repairable small chips on the base where it meets the floor. The keys to the drawers and wardrobes are sadly missing. Very functional
