In the blend is gentle Lowland grain, rich Highland malt and peaty(smoky) Islay malt whisky from the Laphroaig Distillery. After blending the whisky is rested and spends a further six months in Amontillado casks finalising the unique character. The casks used are intensely flavoured solera butts infused for many years with premium Amontillado Napoleon. 43% ABV
