むしろ、テンプルトンがストリートを散策しながら社会のしくみや建築、興味をもった小さな対象について、写真で記述し、都会のリズムを捉えた視覚的な日記になっている。各巻の編集や写真の順序は丁寧に配慮され、テンプルトンが都市やそこに生きる人々をどのように観察していたかを伝えている。まるで、それぞれの都市の名所を背景にロケ撮影した映画を見るようだ。

I documented much of my life, graffiti and all that comes with it. Over time, I saw everything gets buffed. Its a cycle of painting and being painted over.
