If you stand in the middle of the plateau, the view is almost infinite in all directions. You will see rivers, large lakes and weathered mountains. About 8 000 meters ago, the first people came to the highland plateau, they lived by hunting reindeer and fishing. From 2015 to 2024 Eirik Brekke has been a regular visitor to Hardangervidda to see who uses
