Eastern White Pine — Framed Piece Frame:Black Dandelions bloom in the surroundingLooking up through the canopy of an old Eastern White Pine the massive trunk at centre, the long horizontal branches spreading to the left and right, the needles in loose green clusters against a pale, hazy sky. This coloured pencil landscape is one of Glen's most architecturally conceived tree studies: the pine is not a background element but the entire subject, the viewer placed at its base looking upward into its structure. The Eastern White Pine
