Large Eve Kaplin Brooch Archaeological revival Smithsonian Design MuseumThis large brooch by designer Eve Kaplin is kinetic and colorful, with dangling rings and adjustable riveted joints that allow it to be worn vertically or horizontally and in various widths and configurations. Though unsigned, this is a case where I have no qualms about making an attribution as this piece has all of her design hallmarks including mobile rings and riveted joints topped with colorful balls, many with a characteristic pebbled surface.
