It combines a 22mm P6 load bearing routed chipboard base with a 6mm moisture resistant foil backed fibre cover board, giving a total build up of just 28mm above the joist. Unlike overlay systems, Fusion replaces the standard floor deck entirely laying directly onto joists at up to 600mm centres with no separate chipboard or plywood subfloor
