March Madness animal I watched a winter dayThe early March Milky Way streams over the Yellowstone River and Absaroka Beartooth Mountains in SW Montana. This view is one of my favorite overlooks, in the heart of Paradise Valley, where the Yellowstone meanders through a giant oxbow. I've photographed it during many different seasons, and am still drawn to it. On this very early morning, the temperature dropped to 13, but lengthening days and more sunlight had recently opened the river for the
