I incorporated a lot of metallic paints in this piece to try and capture some of the the brilliant sunsets I've seen in this beautiful state

On the original I traced out the flag over a road map and used acrylic paints thinned down with water so it would allow the map to show through

Sometimes I accidently tear the paper map beyond repair

The original Arizona Flag Map was painted over a road map of Arizona

Graphite Trees (canvas wrap) Size:30" x 20" I incorporated a lot ofThe original Graphite Trees was created on an unusual foggy Colorado morning with the moon still barely visible in the sky. Because gray skies in Colorado are so rare, I find them quite welcoming and peaceful. Using acrylic paints and a graphite pencil, all in shades of gray and sepia, I tried to capture the "softness" of the morning. Raised silver metal is applied at the horizon line to enliven this reproduction. It is available in 2 sizes. *Michele
