Serial #7545, which I believe should put the manufacture date in the mid 1950's. This was one of their light trout models and is listed at 3 1 4 ounces (though my scale has it at 3 ounces). The patent number and owner's name are inked on the rod. This feels like a nice medium fast action 5 weight to me. Very lightly used condition with no ascertainable soiling
