It was worn by one of Charles Edward Stewart's generals during the desastrous Battle of Culloden in 1746. This stylish sword was presumably originally made in France. It has a double hilt. This colichemarde (smallsword) is completely handmade. It is 96,8 cm long with a blade of 78,7 cm, it weighs 879 grams.
