Provenance: Swedish private collection, from the 1980s. Then inherited within the family. Beautiful Baule mother figure seated on a traditional stool, holding two Childs in her arms. The face, with its fine features, is sculpted in medium relief, the contact points marked with a shiny patina. Beautiful headdress composed of three braids.
