Kai 2009 Allemagne an amber-coloured whiteThe Friulano grape variety formerly called Tocai Friulano is typical of Collio: the grapes from the estates old vines (planted in 1936), on clay marls, are macerated for 3 days then the juice is aged for 24 months in barrels. Characteristic of a white produced with a (short) maceration, this wine is both ample and mineral, held together by delicate tannins and nuanced with a touch of subtle bitterness which gives it length and sapidity.
