In the absence of cards like [casthaven]Stifle[/casthaven], [casthaven]Wasteland[/casthaven], [casthaven]Force of Will[/casthaven], and dedicated hosers, I have no idea how Modern decks can fight them, other than by playing a version of Eldrazi designed to break the mirror (or perhaps [casthaven]Painters Servant[/casthaven] is a stronger hoser than it appears)

The creature helps you ramp with your creatures, while the backside helps to cheat out creatures and planeswalkers from your library for free

we get our golden expanse, but it's a field of clouds rather than grass, made exciting by the spires of soaring cities

Id argue that this card is the most elegantly designed Plane card as well
