In addition to the wrath spells and indestructible creatures, there are about a dozen mana acceleration spells to help you start using your wrath effects quickly (mostly green spells to fetch your other lands, as many of the mana acceleration artifacts would die to your other spells)

The ability to exile a card from a graveyard can be pretty useful, and a 1/1 with deathtouch is always a decent early drop

This and Ancient Adamantoise are definitely build-arounds, as the average deck may struggle to get to 8 mana consistently
